CASE BLEND Casing Cleaner

40:1 For normal to moderate cleaning required. (25ml/L H2O) 

20:1 For heavy to extreme cleaning required. (50mL/L H2O) 

Using distilled water will increase the chemical’s cleaning ability. 

The solution can be heated to between 50-60 degrees Celsius in an ultrasonic cleaner. 

Casings and equipment can be treated for 15-20 minutes. Do not leave cases to soak in the solution for prolonged periods as this might discolour or tarnish cases. Rinse cases properly using tap water. Repeat the soaking process if the cases are not clean. 

After drying cases, tumbling can be done to ensure a shiny case finish. 

Ensure that cases are completely dry before use.

Q: Will CASE BLEND give my casings a pink color?

A: No, as long as you stick to the dilution ratios you will not run into this scenario. Strong acids tend to leach the zinc from the brass lattice which gives it the copper/pink hue. Our formulation is carefully engineerd to give you a quick clean without the agressive aftermath.

 

Q: Can I use CASE BLEND in my wet tumbler?

A: Yes, this product was tested in ultrasonic and wet rotary tumbler cleaners. It will also clean the tumbler pins and will not damage the pins. CASE BLEND is not suitable for dry tumbling.

 

Q: Is this cleaner corrosive?

A: Yes and no, this cleaner is very agressive in its undiluted form but with the dilution it will not be too corosive to handle.
