UTILITY BLEND Parts Cleaner

IMPORTANT:

When using painted or coated equipment in ultrasonic cleaners, the part needs to be suspended inside the solution. NEVER put coated parts on the ultrasonic cleaner floor. Clean ultrasonic and tumblers thoroughly after cleaning casings. Cleaning part after cleaning casings might lead to plating.

40:1 for normal to moderate cleaning required. (25ml/L H2O) 

20:1 for heavy to extreme cleaning required. (50ml/L H2O) 

Using distilled water will increase the chemical’s cleaning ability. The solution can be heated to between 50-60 degrees Celsius in an ultrasonic cleaner. Parts and equipment can be treated for 15-20 minutes.

Do  not keep equipment soaked in the solution for prolonged periods as this might discolor or tarnish finishes.  

Rinse equipment properly using luke warm tap water. Repeat the soaking process if equipment are not clean.

Q: Can I use this product to clean painted parts?

A: It depends on the coating. Please see directions. It is clearly stated that coated parts always needs to be suspended to avoid damage. If the part is in contact with the ultrasonic floor it might get damaged.

Q: Can I soak parts in this solution?

A: Yes, this formulation is mild with no aggressive acids or bases in the formulation, you will be able to soak oily or greasy parts. 

Q: What can UTILITY BLEND be used for?

A: UTILITY BLEND is an excellent degreaser for example degreasing reloading trays, reloading dies, and also firearm parts for Black Powder weapons.
